Construction Phase

Building on the solid foundation we laid in the Pre-Construction phase, the Leedway team works hard to ensure that the execution of the project goes according to plan developed. We use project control measures to ensure schedule and budgetary targets are met. Early detection and reporting of issues help minimize or avoid impacts on the project. To ensure a seamless flow of communication, our team actively coordinates with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors and subtrades, surveyors, sales and marketing, procurement, warranty, legal, and other project-specific teams. Our scope management process tracks changes and upgrades approved by buyers and updates the budget and schedule accordingly. We implement a two-step Quality Management system: Step 1 is carried out by our field staff and Step 2 involves the warranty customer service team.

Post-Construction Phase

A key stage in the project is the Post Construction phase. This stage is where all work carried out in the previous phases is tied together and finalized. This is where our impact on buyers’ perception, and owner’s satisfaction, is greatest. Our team works to transition from construction to closing as smoothly as possible. We complete all closeout items and participate in the final Warranty Review and Performance Audit. We carry out our internal inspection ahead of the buyer’s Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) to ensure any deficiencies missed in Step 1 of the two-step Quality Management system are corrected.

The entire construction process can seem like an arduous journey, especially when you factor in this post-construction phase. However, these methods are in place to protect our clients and make sure they are satisfied with their final product for years to come, ensuring the feasibility, quality, and safety of the building and our clients.
